Viva con Agua de Sankt Pauli e.V. is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing access to clean drinking water for all people worldwide. Viva con Agua promotes water projects and actions at home and abroad according to the motto “Water for all – all for water” and relies on lots of positive activism and the universal languages of music, art and sports to activate people for clean drinking water and generate donations.
With the “Millerntor Gallery,” held annually on the grounds of the FC St. Pauli soccer club in Hamburg, Viva von Agua uses art as a vehicle for communicating this vision and mobilizing funds for clean drinking water.
The Millerntor Stadium is an open platform for dialogue and exchange. Artworks of all genres, as well as a diverse music, cultural and educational program, demonstrate how we can all positively shape the world. Numerous opportunities for interaction turn the nearly 17,000 visitors into active participants in social change processes. Proceeds from the sale of art will go to Viva con Agua’s water and sanitation projects.
M2R cooperates with Viva con Agua, the Millerntor Gallery and the artists. A part of the sale of the Rugs for Water Collection directly benefits Viva con Agua.
